BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — From all the parties to Christmas morning, unwrapping all the gifts and all the food makes for lots of trash. Now with Christmas officially over it's time to start cleaning up.
Recyclable
- Wrapping paper (unless it has glitter, metallic, or velvet on it)
- Cardboard boxes (take the tape off and break them down)
- Paper cards (no glitter)
- Pie tins
- Paper bags
- Tissue paper
- Christmas trees (City of Buffalo will have a recycling event in January or you can drop off your tree to a goat farm)
Non-recyclable
- Ribbon
- Bows
- Anything with glitter on it
With New Year's right around the corner, it may be a good idea to organize and start thinking about throwing some material away.
