BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police are investigating vandalism on another city monument.
Monday morning, what appears to be blue paint, was discovered splashed across the base of the statue in Columbus Park.
It's unknown if this vandalism is connected to similar damage done to the McKinley Monument in Niagara Square that took place over the long weekend. In that case, Captain Jeff Rinaldo of the Buffalo Police Department says the person or people responsible could face felony charges.
Anyone with information is asked to call or text police at (716) 847-2255.
