CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — City of Tonawanda police say they are investigating an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven that happened early Christmas morning.
Authorities say two men entered the 7-Eleven on Niagara Street in the City of Tonawanda one with a handgun and the other with a rifle, stealing and undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes just after midnight.
Police say they were two Black males in their 20s and were both wearing hoodies, masks and had gloves on.
According to police they both fled the store south of Hinds Street on foot with officers following them, with the men entering a parked vehicle on Adam Street.
