Corrections officer accused of having sex with multiple inmates

ALBION, N.Y. (WKBW) — A corrections officer is facing multiple sex crime charges after alleged sexual relationships with inmates at the Albion Correctional Facility.

New York State Police investigators started looking into the activities of David F. Stupnick, 26 of Medina, when the case was referred to them by the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations. Troopers say an investigation revealed that Stupnick was engaging in inappropriate sexual relations with two female inmates at Albion Correctional Facility.

Stupnick was charged with 4 counts of sex abuse 2nd degree, 2 counts each of criminal sex act 3rd degree and official misconduct.

Stupnick was issued appearence tickets and is due back in court in JUne.
