AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Officials say crews battled an early morning house fire in Amherst Saturday.
The call came in around 6:30 Saturday morning for the report of a house fire at 25 Deerwood Drive.
The Getzville Fire Company was first on scene and reported heavy smoke showing near the rear porch/deck.
The fire was located on the second floor and attic, it was marked under control around 7 a.m.
Officials say the cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
