LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — A pet store in Lockport is currently under investigation by the Department of Environmental Conservation.
According to our 7 Eyewitness News crew, at least four DEC vehicles were at the Pets Plus pet store located on West Avenue on Tuesday. DEC personnel had been seen moving in and out of the building.
We have learned that some animals have been seized during the raid.
The DEC confirmed Wednesday it executed a search warrant Tuesday as part of a six-month investigation into the illegal sale and/or possession of wildlife.
