Demolition order requested after fire destroys vacant home in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — An investigation is underway after a fire destroyed a vacant home in Buffalo early Saturday morning.

Buffalo Fire crews were called at about 6 a.m. to the 300 block of Fargo Avenue.

Fire officials estimate the vacant home sustained $150,000 in damages. Due to the structural damage, a demolition order has been requested.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
