BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — As of Monday, donations made by Buffalo Bills fans to Oishei Children's Hospital have topped $670,000.

After the Bills loss to Arizona on Sunday, Cardinals fans jumped in to start donating to the hospital also.

The hospital says Greenleaf & Company and OSC Charitable Foundation each donated $17,000 to honor Josh Allen's late grandmother.

On Friday, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen donated $17,000 to Oishei Children's Hospital, in honor of his late grandmother Patricia.

Allen responded to an update from the hospital, in which donations in her name reached $483,000. Allen's donation brought the running total to $500,000.

Allen played with a heavy heart last weekend, after Patricia Allen passed away. Bills fans responded to the news by making $17 donations to Oishei. This act of good will has garnered attention from across the country.

Wednesday Allen praised Bills Mafia who at that point raised over $300,000 and said he never wants to leave Buffalo.

"It's a truly special place...I don't ever want to leave, obviously, and I want to play here for as long as I can and give back to the community and give back to Bills Mafia here," Allen said.
