WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver killed in a crash in Wheatfield, Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say David Pettigrew of Lockport struck a tree off Lockport Road just before 4:30 p.m.
Deputies and medical personnel tried to assist the driver, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Niagara County Accident Investigation Unit will continue their investigation.
