NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The driver of a hit-and-run that killed a woman in Niagara Falls last year has pleaded guilty.
According to a release from the city of Niagara Falls, Stephen Wruck pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter. He was allegedly driving drunk near 24th Street and Michigan Avenue in Niagara Falls on November 27, 2019, when he ran a stop sign and hit Joy Pazamickas' car.
Wruck was arrested shortly after the accident. Pazamickas died a day later.
He has been remanded to the Niagara County Jail until his sentencing on January 25, 2021.
