ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Orchard Park police are investigating a deadly crash that happened Thursday afternoon.
Police say a car hit a pillar for the Powers Road overpass around 1:20 p.m., trapping the driver inside.
When rescuers arrived, the car was engulfed in flames. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are not releasing the driver's name until family has been notified.
