WELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Eight people, including two teenagers, are facing charges in connection with the beating death of a 23 year-old man in Allegany County.
Investigators say Nicholas Burdge of Wellsville was tied to a chair and beat repeatedly at a home in Wellsville. The suspects then wrapped his body in a sheet and plastic garbage bags before dumping it in the Genesee River.
New York State Police have charged the following people with second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter:
- Dylan Croomer, 26
 - Brandon Poehmel, 21
 - Lawrence Haxton III, 34
 - Howard Burroughs, 41
 - Kristopher Delill, 38
 - A 16-year-old juvenile
 
In addition, police have charged Richelle Kyser, 28, with tampering with physical evidence and charged a 17 -year-old juvenile with third-degree assault.
