Eight Days of Hope providing free home repairs

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The organization Eight Days of Hope announced today they will be offering assistance to families in need of home repairs for residents that live in the University District.

Eight Days of Hope is a non-profit organization that has rebuilt over 4,700 homes across the country. According to Steve Tybor III, CEO of Eight Days of Hope, "We help families rebuild their homes and assist families in need. We are excited to share about the efforts planned for the City of Buffalo."

Council Member Rasheed N.C. Wyatt stated, "Eight Days of Hope will assist homeowners who could not qualify for grants or cannot afford to repair their home. This organization will make a vital impact in the University District."

There will be an information session on Saturday March 9th, 2019 at 9am at the University United Methodist Church, 410 Minnesota Avenue, Buffalo.
