BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw is joining the race to fill the seat for New York's 27th congressional district, left vacant by Chris Collins.
Mychajliw is running for the Republican nomination against attorney Beth Parlato and State Senators Chris Jacobs and Rob Ortt.
Nate McMurray is the only Democrat currently running for the seat.
Mychajliw made the announcement on his official website.
April 28, 2020 is expected to be the date for the special election.
