HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — Organizers for the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights have announced another schedule change due to the weather.
The opening of The Fairgrounds Festival of Lights was originally scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend but was delayed until December 2 due to the significant lake effect snowstorm.
Another significant snowstorm is in the forecast for this weekend which has caused organizers to cancel the final night of the event. Instead of wrapping up on December 23, the event will now wrap up on December 22.
Organizers say admission must be purchased online, you can reserve your night here. There are a limited number of tickets available per night.
Those who purchased their admission for December 23 are able to use that same ticket reservation on December 21 or December 22. You must present your ticket at the gate.
