BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Ever wonder where the fish are biting in Western New York? There's a website for that.
Fishermen and boaters: have you checked out our online Fishing Hotspot Map? It's a cool, constantly updated map that indicates where the fish are biting and it even identifies shipwreck locations. It's a service of our @ErieCoDEP. Check it out here:https://t.co/Z8uY6Xpttf pic.twitter.com/zCGAkCyP2c

It's called the Western New York Fishing Hotspot Map. The map tells anglers where and which fish are biting.
The map also gives information on where you can find shipwrecks and how deep the water is in spots on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
The map is run by the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning.
