BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo School Board announced during a meeting on Wednesday that former superintendent Dr. James Williams has died.
Dr. Williams served as superintendent of New York State's second largest school district from 2005 until his retirement in 2012.
Buffalo Schools underwent a $1.4 billion reconstruction project during his tenure.
