MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Four men were seriously injured in a crash in Chautauqua County Tuesday morning, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's office announced.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday deputies responded to the area of 4777 Route 394 in Mayville for the report of an accident with injuries.
The sheriff's office says upon arrival deputies found the four occupants of the vehicle seriously injured. Three of the occupants were transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania to be evaluated for their injuries.
The fourth occupant was first transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital and then later transported to UPMC Hamot.
The sheriff's office identified the four occupants as James A. Meuker, Samuel A. McQueen, Michael Brightman and Jacob Surrena.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges may be filed at a later date.
