ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — For the first time in 30 years, skiing will be returning to Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced the news on his twitter:
Work is almost complete on the new Chestnut Ridge Park ski tow. It's been more than 30 years since anyone has skied on the hill but soon FREE skiing will return again. pic.twitter.com/ewnFEL3C1N

Skiing will be free, and constructionof the tow rope for skiers and snowboarders is underway. We expect more updates on this in the coming weeks.
