AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Another Western New York attraction will not go on this year due to COVID-19.

Frightworld says it has canceled the upcoming 2020 season due to the ongoing pandemic.

In a statement, Frightworld said the following

With the new, New York State regulations for haunted houses, and the continuing increase of cases in Western New York, Frightworld feels it is in the best interest of our customers and employees to not open this Fall. Buffalo’s safety has always been, and will continue to be, Frightworld’s top priority.

Frightworld says people should visit Escape City Buffalo and play their horror themed game Body Collectors for people to get their Halloween fix.
