HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Frontier High School community released hundreds of balloons this morning, to honor the life of 18-year-old Edward Travis IV, a senior who was killed in acar crash Saturday morning in West Seneca.

Travis was driving with his girlfriend, Elizabeth Rybarczyk, to a charity event he was participating in for community service when he swerved into the opposite lane and crashed head-on with another vehicle. The couple had attended Frontier's senior prom the night before.
Rybarczyk, a 2018 graduate of Frontier, was taken to ECMC. She is currently listed in stable condition.
Grief counselors will be on hand at the school this week.
