ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Genesee Brewery announced the original cream ale will soon be available with a twist as Genesee Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale, which took eight months and six test batches to develop.
The lemon strawberry cream ale is brewed with all-natural flavors and will be available year-round in six markets.
Genesee says the new brew will be packaged on June 18 and sent out to a limited number of retailers, bars and restaurants in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
“Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale is a delicious beer perfect for any outdoor occasion,” said Janine Schoos, Genesee brand director. “Building off the popularity of our lighthearted Ruby Red Kolsch, we decided to keep the fun going with this riff on Cream Ale. We love any opportunity to offer our fans exciting new flavor experiences.”
Genesee announced earlier this year the 14-time award winning original cream ale became its own brand with modern packaging.
