This enormous slide will send you and 3 friends down a 30-foot drop before you glide across its one-of-a-kind WATER WALL, virtually defying gravity! #SixFlags pic.twitter.com/X1Mzy2C7iY
The park is adding "Wahoo Wave" in 2020. Six Flags installed the slide at its water park in Houston this year. That park's website describes the ride as six-stories tall.
You and up to three other riders get in a tube and begin the slide by twisting through a tunnel slide, gradually making your way down 30 feet. But then, you suddenly plunge another 30 feet into what's descibed as a "huge water wave wall." You slide vertically up it and gravity pulls you back down into a splash pool.
Six Flags Darien Lake did not immediately specify whether the slide would be ready to go for the opening of the park in 2020.
