BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — GOBike Buffalo has announced its 2019 schedule for Slow Roll Buffalo, and it includes more than 40 free and inclusive community rides.
More than half of the rides will be on Monday night and each will feature a new venue and route every week.
There will also be two rides on Buffalo's "Freeways Without Future" -- the 33 and the 198 -- which were given the designation last week by the national Congress for the New Urbanism. The Buffalo Museum of Science will host the "Restore Our Community Ride" along the Kensinngton Expressway (the 33) on May 13th, and The Buffalo History Museum will host the "Parkway Revival Ride" along the Scajaquada (the 198) on May 20th.
The group is also hosting the sixth annual "Skyride" where cyclists ride on Buffalo's Skyway on May 19th.
Slow Roll is committed to covering the entire city of Buffalo, and there are ten new host locations in the 2019 schedule.
Slow Roll Buffalo will continue to grow beyond Mondays and the City of Buffalo with weekend rides in the suburbs and more rual towns like Clarence and Eden.
