BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Health care workers are holding simultaneous rallies at three Buffalo-area hospitals on Thursday.
Workers at Buffalo General Hospital, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, and Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, are protesting in support of raising New York state revenue and staffing healthcare facilities.
These rallies are part of a statewide movement and a week of action by union members to call for additional taxes on the ultra wealthy to fund staffing increases at hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
The rallies begin at noon at both Buffalo General Hospital, and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, while starting at 12:30 p.m. at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.
