OLCOTT, N.Y. (WKBW) — Some brave souls took a frigid swim for a good cause this weekend in Niagara County.

Hundreds of people turned out in costumes to jump in Lake Ontario for the 50th annual Olcott Polar Bear Swim for Sight Sunday afternoon. The event raises money for the blind and visually-impaired.

It was put on by the Olcott Lions Club. No word yet on just how much money was raised.
