ELLICOTTVILLE, NY (WKBW) — Holiday Valley has announced the end of the skiing season for the 2023-24 season.
"The decision was made today that last Saturday, March 30, would be the last day of the 2023-24 season. It was a fantastic day that had 2 lifts running, access to 10 slopes, and a very fun-filled Pond Skimming event," a post on its Facebook page said.
The popular lodge says while there was a lack of snow throughout the winter, crews were able to make enough snow for 115 days of skiing and riding this year.
In March, 7 News spoke with those in ski country about the impact the warmer winter had on the ski season season.
