BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A cannoli doughnut created by Paula's Donuts to raise money for Hospice became a such a hit that Paula's had trouble keeping up with demand and even had to rent fridges to be able to store the extra cannoli filling.
Over 45,000 doughnuts made and over $60,000 raised for Hospice later those doughnuts are coming back to the Paula's menu permanently.
Paula's made the announcement on Twitter, stating once larger pumps come in so the doughnuts don't need to be hand-filled they will be permanently added to the menu.
Just to clarify- we will not have Cannoli Donuts on Monday. We ordered larger pumps so we don't have to hand fill every single donut. (It's hard because the filling is so cold). Once we start them they will be permanently on the menu so no rush to get them 😊🍩🍩😊
