CUBA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A husband and wife were found dead in a Cuba home on Thursday afternoon in an apparent murder-suicide.
Cuba police say they were called to perform a welfare check at an address on Health Camp Road around 5 p.m. yesterday. Upon entering the home, police discovered the bodies of a man and woman. They have been identified as Barbara Ramsey, 57, and Timothy Ramsey, 60.
According to police, Barbara and Timothy Ramsey were found deceased in the same room. Barbara had multiple injuries, and Timothy had a single gunshot wound. In their report on the incident, police refer to Barbara as the "victim" and Timothy as the "suspect."
Police say the case has been closed following the investigation because the suspect is deceased. They add there are no additional suspects.
