TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — They may be young, but that doesn't mean they can't lend a helping hand to those fighting cancer.

A group of kindergartners and first-graders are being celebrated by the Ken-Ton school district for their fundraising efforts.

Miss Puccio's class at Holmes Elementary raised $550 as part of the school's Pennies for Patients initiative. They joined the other students and staff at the school in raising over $2,300 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
