BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The New York State Liquor authority is clearing up any confusion about whether liquor stores will be open during the 100% non-essential workforce reduction executive order issued by Governor Cuomo Friday morning.

Liquor stores have been deemed an essential business and may remain open.

Stores do not need to reduce workforces.

This applies to all State Liquor Authority licensed entities.

Please drink responsibly.
