GERRY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash in the Town of Gerry.
Investigators say James Newell, 41, was driving recklessly when he crashed his vehicle on Gerry Ellington Road on February 15.
Newell's passenger, brother Paul Newell, was pronounced dead at the scene.
James Newell is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving, unsafe passing, failure to keep right, and speeding.
