THREAD: I have been told Charles Durante lived above the funeral home where he worked. He lived in the apartment with a roommate. @wkbw

Durante worked as the licensed funeral director at the John Roberts funeral home, located at the intersection where his body was found. Investigators say he also lived in the apartment above the funeral home where he was employed.
A representative for John E. Roberts Funeral Home issued this statement:
“We are heartbroken by this tragic loss. Charlie was a special person to us and the community. We’re thankful for the Amherst Police Department's prompt response and are cooperating fully with their investigation.”
Police say they have not yet determined what caused Durante's injuries but confirm that he was not hit by a car or shot.
