BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The 7 Eyewitness News I-Team has learned Buffalo Police have executed a search warrant on the Maserati, involved in the deadly October crash in South Buffalo.

Police are examining data in the car's black box, according to Captain Jeff Rinaldo.

Rinaldo explained police had to go to a dealership to get this information downloaded.

The crash happened late last month, on Seneca Street and Pomona Place.

In working to get more information about the case, the I-Team submitted a formal request for information under New York State's Freedom of Information Law. The case, we're told, is still under investigation and a police report is not being released.

Toxicology results are are still pending, weeks after we first reported police subpoenaed the Maserati driver's blood, drawn at the hospital. They're working to figure out if the driver was drunk when they crashed.

The October crash killed 33-year-old Anthony Twentyfive III and 32-year-old Kristin N. LaBruno. Both are from Buffalo. The driver's name has not been released. No charges have been filed.
