NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — The City of Niagara Falls says it needs more testing kits for the fight against coronavirus.

The office of Mayor Robert Restaino (D-Niagara Falls) says the city has essentially, "run out of," COVID-19 testing kits.

Now, they're trying to use Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to buy more COVID-19 test kits.

The city wants the new tests to be more accurate and have a reduced turnaround time.
