Medina Police Department investigating stabbing at Poler's Pub

MEDINA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Medina Police Department announced the investigation into a stabbing at 610 Main Street, which is the address of Poler's Pub.

The stabbing occurred around 1:35 a.m. Sunday. Police said upon arrival officers were advised of multiple stabbing victims including one person bleeding severely from a leg wound.

The victims were transported to Medina Hospital and ECMC. Police said all are alive and described them as stable.

According to police, the initial investigation determined all involved knew each other and the incident started as an argument that escalated into a physical altercation, and then a subject used a knife against multiple people. Police said a subject in this incident is known to police and is wanted for questioning.

On Thursday, police announced that 43-year-old Nicholas Amos was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, three counts of third-degree assault, five counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct.
