AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Part of the I-290 is closed due to a multiple-car crash Friday morning. The thruway was shut down eastbound between Exits 3 and 4, that's Niagara Falls Boulevard and the I-990, but is now back open.
Amherst Police tell us it was a multiple-car accident, with injuries. But they could not tell us to what extent those accidents are.
