BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc, announced a "company talk" and tours at the "Gigafactory 2" facility on South Park Avenue will take place in April.
Musk tweeted the announcement on Monday. The visit will include customer and media tours of the factory which has been rarely seen by the public.
Tesla April company talk will be from our Giga New York factory, where we make SolarGlass & several other products. Will also offer customer & media tours.

April also marks a employment level deadline for Tesla as the company will face a multi-million dollar fine from New York State unless they meet a 1,460 person employment benchmark by April 1st. According to a tweet from Buffalo mayor Byron Brown, Tesla has hired over 1,100 as of early February.
