LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police have identified the man who they say was hit and killed by a vehicle in the Town of Lockport.
Dysinger Road was closed between Old Beattie Road and Raymond Road Tuesday evening during the investigation.
According to the sheriff's office, Frederick Bishop was struck by a vehicle in the 6400 block of Dysinger Road.
Investigators say that the vehicle was traveling westbound when a pedestrian crossed Dysinger Road in front of the vehicle.
Deputies say Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office continues to investigate.
