BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Rich Products is launching a new effort to help the next generation of culinary masters.
The company announced Wednesday the creation of the Dr. Shirley Brown, Rich Products Scholarship. It's named after Dr. Brown, a 46-year associate at Rich's and the company's first culinary technical professional.
The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Buffalo's Emerson School of Hospitality each year three years. The money will cover tuition at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, allowing students to focus on their studies without worrying about finances.
