NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The new year is set to bring major changes to DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda.
Beginning January 1, 2020, the hospital will be focusing patient services on its new $8m emergency department, related ancillary services as well as primary care.
According to hospital leadership, the facility will be transitioning in-patient care to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst for patients not requiring care at a specialty center.
The hospital's Wellness Center will remain open with PT, OT, Speech Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehab and physician offices.
In 2017, DeGraff closed its Intensive Care and Surgical Units.
