NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Rock Burger, a Niagara Falls based restaurant with insanely filled burgers, is planning to expand their footprint. Open on Niagara Falls Boulevard, the restaurant is eyeing multiple areas for new locations that could end up totaling dozens across the country.
"We can see up to 30 (locations)," Owner Jason Lizardo said, "I'm hoping in the next five years."
Currently, a Rochester location is in the works as part of a licensing agreement. That will set the precident for how more Rock Burgers would be built and operated all over the US.
"(We will) use the Rochester location as a platform and a staple" Lizardo said.
A third location will open following the Rochester restaurant right near Niagara Falls State Park. Both of those will be open in 2020.
As for the nationwide expansion, that takes time, but the quality of the burgers will remain through it all.
"We make food with a lot of passion," Lizardo said, "fresh to order. Every burger we put out we believe is the best burger we can make."
