NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara Falls police say an arrest has been made in connection with a robbery at DiCamillo Bakery on Pine Avenue Tuesday.
31-year-old Joseph Sturdivant was taken into custody without incident at his home in Niagara Falls Friday afternoon.
Police say Sturdivant allegedly demanded cash from a clerk while motioning that he had a weapon, just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Sturdivant faces one count of robbery in the second degree and menacing in the second degree. He was arraigned and released to probation, his next court date has not been determined.
The bakery announced Wednesday it has added security to the store.
