Niagara Falls police search for mother accused of abandoning baby at casino

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara Falls police are asking for help in locating a woman accused of abandoning her 10-month-old child at the Seneca Niagara Casino on January 31.

According to police, attempts to find 28-year-old Sherone Littleton, and allow her to turn herself in, have been exhausted.

Police say Littleton told detectives that she was in Ohio, but it is not believed to be accurate. They say her last known address is in the 100 block of Hewitt Avenue in Buffalo.

Littleton is facing charges of reckless endangerment, abandonment of a child and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.
