NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Olcott and the Village of Akron have become home to some filming for "A Quiet Place 2" and soon North Tonawanda will become "A Quiet Place," too.

The City of North Tonawanda and Paramount Pictures have come to an agreement to film for "A Quiet Place 2" at Stenzil Field between September 3rd and September 13th.

Paramount Pictures would pay a $5,000 fee for renting the field and the cost of other services like police, fire and DPW would be negotiated separately.

The city council approved the agreement at their meeting on August 6th, which means John Krasinski (or Jim Halpert from "The Office") will be coming to a neighborhood even closer to you soon.

Krasinski and actress Emily Blunt have been spotted at different locations across Western New York.
