LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lancaster police say one person is dead and three people are injured following a crash in Lancaster, Monday afternoon.
Authorities say this happened on Transit Road near the Tops Friendly Market around 4:30 p.m.
A Cedar Transport Bus Company bus was attempting to make a left hand turn into the parking lot at 6357 Transit Road and struck a vehicle driving northbound according to police.
Police say the passenger of the vehicle, 63-year-old Pantelis Stamataros, was extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, 64-year-old Eva Stamataros was transported to ECMC with serious injuries.
The driver of the bus and the bus aide were transported to ECMC with minor injuries.
Police did not say if any charges were filed.
