ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Guns, drugs and a sophisticated marijuana growing operation, that's what Orchard Park Police say they discovered inside the home located at 5797 Chestnut Ridge Road.

According to investigators, this all started on the morning of Thursday, March 5, when a passing bus driver with the Orchard Park School District was flagged down by an 18-year-old man. That man claimed he was assaulted by three men and that his cash, jewelry and other personal property was stolen. He also reported being beaten by an AR-15 rifle and a handgun, shot by a pellet gun and hit repeatedly and threatened with a machete. Police say detectives found video on social media supporting the man's claims.

The following day, the Orchard Park Police Detective Bureau executed a search warrant at the home on Chestnut Ridge Road. Upon searching the property, police say they found the weapons involved including a loaded gun, the victim's stolen property and large quantities of drug paraphernalia. Detectives say they also discovered two disguised, hidden locked rooms inside the basement housing a large sophisticated marijuana growing and packaging operation.

Due to unsafe conditions, Orchard Park Police say the house has been boarded up and condemned.

One of the suspects allegedly involved in the initial assault was located inside the home. Police have identified that man as 19-year-old Jacob R. Page. He's now charged with robbery, assault, menacing and petit larceny. Investigators say the two other suspects are outstanding and charges are pending.
