Organizers and food vendors preparing over 500 different menu items for this year's Erie County Fair

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's fair and festival season in Western New York, and people are starting to gear up for the 180th Erie County Fair.

This year's event will feature over 500 different menu options at over 130 individual food stands.

What can you expect at this year's fair? Starting on Monday, August 12th, attendees will be able to sample bite-sized items for over 100 different foods at $2.00 per serving.

Fairgoers can choose their favorite foods by selecting their favorite on the Fairgrounds mobile app.

Nearly 1.2 million people attended last year's fair.

The fair starts on Wednesday, August 7th and runs through Sunday, August 18th, and daily tickets are $12 for adults over the age of 12, and $9 for seniors age 60 and up--tickets for children under the age of 12 are free.
