Castro died after fighting stage four cancer in May.
He was originally from El Paso, Texas and eventually moved to Dallas. Castro had no connection to Western New York but was considered one of the biggest Bills fans.
Fans donated more than $100,000 to The Teachers Deskin honor of Pancho Billa. The organization teamed up with 26shirts to put together thousands of backpacks for Western New York children. For every $10 donation, The Teachers Desk were able to put together a backpack with $100 worth of school supplies.
The memorial will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 4170 Abbott Road Saturday, September 21.
