BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — It's an annual tradition in ski country, with the Penguin Paddle taking place at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville on Saturday.
The idea here is to put on a plastic garbage bag over your jacket, and race down the slopes on your belly like a penguin.
This all benefits the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program.
Money raised is used to buy new adaptive ski equipment, provide scholarships and offer ski days for veterans.
The Penguin Paddle also included lunch and silent auction.
